What is New Spin?
New spin is an intergenerational project that was formed as a partnership between The Citadel Youth Centre and Pilmeny Development Project. The New Spin Project started in January 2010 and works to offer over 50’s and young people in Leith the opportunity to try new activities together, build friendships and share skills.

Intergenerational work – what is it?
Intergenerational work aims to bring people together in purposeful, mutually beneficial activities which promote greater understanding and respect between generations and contributes to building stronger communities. Intergenerational work is inclusive, building on the positive skills that the young and old have to offer.
What’s on offer?
New Spin runs a variety of intergenerational activities including an intergenerational cafe and arts based workshops.
